De Silent Disco rents out silent disco sets for parties and events. In 2021, we developed the web application on desilentdisco.nl where customers enter the number of headphones, the number of transmitters, and the date they need, after which the application calculates the price automatically and confirms the booking right away. Why a rental company set out to automate its quote process
De Silent Disco had been looking for a while for someone who could handle the technically complex changes to its website, but couldn't find anyone up to the job. Rentals ran on manual quotes, while customers online want clarity on price and availability right away.
Every quote took time on both sides: the customer waited for a price, and De Silent Disco did the math and sent an email. For a rental company with lots of small bookings, that holds back revenue.
How the booking application for De Silent Disco was built
In a consultation, we mapped out together exactly what was needed. Then we built the web application: customers put together their own package with the number of headphones and transmitters plus the date they need, and the application calculates the price automatically and confirms the booking right away.
What building the web application involved

The web application is live on desilentdisco.nl and handles the entire booking process, from configuring the package to confirmation.
